Nigeria Golf Summit Set for August 26-27 in Abuja

Lawal Garba, Chairman of Trobell Nigeria Limited and the forthcoming 2nd Nigeria Golf Summit, has expressed enthusiasm regarding the event set for August 26 and 27 at NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja. He believes the summit will create new opportunities for Nigerian golfers and stakeholders to enhance the sport's development.

Garba described the summit as a vital platform for networking, idea exchange, and personal and professional growth within the golfing community. He emphasized the importance of building relationships among participants from diverse backgrounds to contribute to golf's broader development in Nigeria.

The summit will feature His Royal Highness Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi as the Royal Father, with former Osun State Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and former Plateau State Governor Senator Simon Bako Lalong serving as Special Guests of Honour. Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, OON, President of the Nigeria Golf Federation, stated that preparations are advanced and that the agenda will focus on promoting awareness and development of golf in Nigeria.
