Nigeria Launches First CAF A-License Course in Nine Years
Nigeria has initiated its first CAF A-License coaching course in nine years, commencing in Abuja on Monday. A total of 25 top-flight coaches, including those from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) clubs, are enrolled in this intensive program.
The course, organized by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), marks the country's return to the CAF A-License Convention. Although the NFF has previously conducted coaching courses in the D-License, C-License, and B-License categories, this is the first CAF A-License course since 2014.
The first module of the course will last for five days and will be officially opened by Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme, the Acting General Secretary of the NFF, on Wednesday. The second module is scheduled to take place next month.
