Nigeria–Britain Association Elects New Leadership at AGM

The Nigeria–Britain Association (NBA) convened its 57th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Lagos, where members reviewed the association's activities over the last financial year and assessed its progress. The AGM reaffirmed the NBA's commitment to strengthening Nigeria-UK relations through dialogue and strategic collaboration across various sectors, including business and culture.

Mr. Ademola Sanya was elected as President, with Dr.

Bisi Bright as Vice President, and Mr. Gafar Odubot serving as Honorary Secretary.

Other elected officials included Mr. Funmilola Orokal as Honorary Treasurer and Mr.

Adelek Nadi as Assistant Honorary Secretary, along with thirteen additional members of the governing council. The newly elected President, Mr.

Sanya, expressed appreciation for the contributions of his predecessor, Mr. Sola Oyetayo, and emphasized the need to build on previous achievements, deepen stakeholder engagement, and enhance membership value to strengthen the association's role in facilitating Nigeria-UK trade and cultural exchanges.
