Nigerian Army Destroys Terrorist Camps in Kogi State, Records Major Victory

The Nigerian Army, specifically the 12 Brigade, conducted a successful operation in Kogi State, targeting and burning terrorist camps linked to a notorious network led by Kachalla Ibrahim Shu in the state. The troops recovered a substantial amount of arms and ammunition, including eight boxes of 7.62 x 54 linked ammunition containing bandoliers and 250 rounds in one box, as well as high-velocity grenades.

Despite the terrorists managing to escape into the bush upon the troops' advance, their base was set ablaze, denying them the opportunity to reoccupy it. The operation was a major victory against terrorism in the region, as confirmed by the Nigerian Army in a statement.
