Nigerian Army Hosts Conference to Enhance Logistics Efficiency

The Nigerian Army initiated a two-day Supply and Transport Conference on Tuesday at the Muhammadu Buhari Auditorium, Nigerian Army School of Supply and Transport in Benin City, Edo State. The conference, led by Maj Gen Nansak Danjuma Shagaya, aims to enhance operational effectiveness and service delivery in support of the Nigerian Army's mission.

The theme of the conference is "Optimizing Capabilities Toward Providing Effective Service Delivery." It serves as a platform for strategizing, reflecting on institutional learning, and addressing challenges in logistics support amidst a dynamic security environment. The conference facilitates professional engagement among senior officers to review operational commitments and explore innovative approaches to improve efficiency.

Maj Gen Adebayo Olatund Adegbit emphasized the importance of aligning the corps command philosophy with the goal of developing a highly proficient supply transport corps. The event will also feature a gala night on March 26 to honor retiring generals.
