Romance Fraud Convict Emuobosan Hall Wanted After Skipping Jail

Emuobosan Emanuella Hall, 45, is currently wanted after skipping an eight-year prison sentence for her role in a romance fraud scheme. A federal arrest warrant was issued on April 14, 2026, by U.S.

Magistrate Judge Donna Phillip Currault following Hall's failure to surrender as ordered. Hall was sentenced in January 2026 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, which primarily targeted older women.

She was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, in April 2024, and later granted bond. Hall was instructed to report to a designated Bureau of Prisons facility by March 25, 2026, but failed to comply.

Her last known location was Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where her monitoring device stopped transmitting. Hall admitted to being responsible for a loss of $851,207, while her co-defendant, Kenneth G.

Akpieyi, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his involvement. Hall now faces an additional 10 years in prison for her failure to report, along with potential fines and mandatory supervised release.
