Wike: Nigerians Want Infrastructure but Avoid Taxes

Nyesom Wike, serving as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), expressed concerns regarding the attitude of Nigerians towards tax payments while inspecting a road project in the FCT. He pointed out that citizens want quality infrastructure but are not willing to contribute through taxes.

Wike's comments reflect a broader issue regarding public infrastructure funding and the expectations of citizens. Additionally, Nentaw Yilwatda, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), commented on political relationships, stating that political opponents should not be treated as enemies.

He explained that personal interactions should remain cordial despite political differences, indicating a desire for unity among party members.
