Kenneth Okonkwo Critiques Peter Obi's Political Sacrifices

Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), squandered his opportunity for greatness. During an interview on the Selah Meditate Podcast, Okonkwo claimed that Nigerians were ready to support Obi without the usual political incentives, marking a significant shift in political dynamics.

He stated, “For the first time in Nigeria, people are willing to give somebody power free of charge,” but emphasized that Obi must make necessary sacrifices to retain that support. Okonkwo described Obi as a man who had the chance to achieve greatness but failed to capitalize on it.

He also provided descriptions of other political figures, labeling Atiku Abubakar as a benevolent and humane leader who is determined to pursue the presidency to benefit Nigerians. Okonkwo characterized Atiku as a "good leader" who aims to help rescue the country within his lifetime.
