NIPSS Launches Senior Executive Course 48 on Orange Economy

The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) inaugurated Senior Executive Course 48, emphasizing the orange economy's role in Nigeria's development. Director Professor Ayo Omotayo highlighted the 10-month program's design to enhance policy insights, strategic thinking, and leadership capacities among senior executives to address Nigeria's governance challenges.

Omotayo congratulated the participants, describing their admission as recognition of their professional accomplishments and leadership potential. He stressed the importance of the course in national service, requiring discipline and ethical leadership.

The orange economy encompasses cultural, creative, tourism, media, fashion, film, music, and digital innovation, which are vital for diversifying Nigeria's economy, reducing unemployment, and building sustainable livelihoods. Omotayo noted the need for coherent policies to protect intellectual property and promote entrepreneurship.

Plateau State Deputy Governor Josephine Piyo welcomed participants, commending NIPSS for its contributions to national development and emphasizing the strategic importance of the creative economy in global growth.
