FG Highlights Youth Development Policies at NIPSS

On Tuesday, the Federal Government, represented by Stella Oduem, the Minister of Youth Development, presented its youth development policies to participants of the Senior Executive Course 48 at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru. The minister highlighted the government's commitment to harnessing the immense potential of Nigerian youth as key drivers of national development.

Comrade Ayodel Olawand, representing the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Maryam Ismaila Keshinro, reaffirmed the need for strategic investment in youth to enable them to transition from job seekers to job creators.

The ministry aims to strengthen entrepreneurship development, digital innovation, and skill acquisition, providing young Nigerians with the necessary tools to become self-reliant and globally competitive. Omolara Esan, the Director of Information and Public Relations, emphasized that Nigeria's youth population is a strategic asset for economic transformation.

The event included discussions on aligning government policies with the aspirations of young Nigerians within the framework of a knowledge-based economy.
