NISO Launches Construction of New Control Room in Oshogbo

The Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) has officially launched the construction of a new national control room in Oshogbo, Osun State. The handover ceremony took place on Tuesday, with Engr Abdu Bello Moham, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NISO, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards and strict adherence to safety and quality requirements.

The project is being executed by Messrs FB Construct Engineering Services Limited, with a focus on proper supervision and coordination to ensure timely completion. Engr Nafisatu Asab Ali, the Executive Director of System Operations, highlighted the critical nature of the national control center as a vital asset for national security and economic development.

She reaffirmed NISO's commitment to delivering infrastructure that will enhance grid stability and reliability across the country. Mr.
