Nnaji Denies Evading Authorities Amid Legal Challenges

Geoffrei Nnaji, the former Minister of Science and Technology, has publicly denied claims of evading authorities following a report by Premium Times suggesting a court order for his arrest. Nnaji's spokesperson, Dr.

Robert Ngwu, issued a statement asserting that Nnaji has not hidden from law enforcement and has lived in his Asokoro home in Abuja for nearly two decades. The statement emphasized that neither Nnaji nor his legal team, led by Chief Wole Olanipekun, received any summons or warrants from the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC).

Nnaji is involved in a pending case at the Federal High Court in Abuja, identified as suit no. FHC/ABJ/CS/1909/2025, seeking judicial clarification regarding his academic records.

Ngwu criticized the media for misinforming the public and reiterated Nnaji's commitment to due process and transparency, urging the public to remain calm as the legal process unfolds.
