Abakaliki FC Chairman Urges Trialists to Excel in Training

Senator Obinna Ogba, the Chairman of Abakaliki FC, has issued a strong directive to trialists participating in the club's ongoing screening exercise for the selection of new players for the 2026-27 campaign. Ogba emphasized that only those players who fulfill the requirements set by the technical crew will be chosen for the team.

He advised the trialists to focus on their performance and refrain from blaming the coaches, asserting that no coach would overlook a talented player. Abakaliki FC is currently in preparation for the upcoming season and plans to announce the list of successful trialists before the season commences.

It is noted that Abakaliki FC has retained 26 players from the previous season, indicating a blend of continuity and new talent for the forthcoming campaign.
