The management of Transcorp Hilton Abuja issued a statement clarifying that there was no water crisis at the hotel following a one-day outage. The disruption, which occurred due to emergency maintenance work carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Water Board, began on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

The hotel management confirmed that they swiftly activated contingency measures to ensure continuous water availability, thereby maintaining guest comfort and uninterrupted service throughout the maintenance period. They refuted claims of a water crisis, describing reports circulating on social media as false and misleading.

The water supply was fully restored by Wednesday, April 15, 2026, and the hotel continued to operate at full capacity across its facilities. The general manager, Martin Zarybnicki, expressed appreciation to guests and stakeholders for their understanding and support, reiterating the hotel's commitment to delivering high standards of hospitality.
