Kunle Afod Appeals to Ekiti Governor Over Blackout

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod has reached out to Ekiti State Governor Abiodun Oyebanji through an open letter shared on his Facebook page, urging intervention in a prolonged electricity blackout affecting four communities: Iroko, Oke Oro, Ayegun, and Temidire. According to Afod, these communities have been without electricity for approximately three years, severely disrupting businesses, households, and students' activities.

In his letter, he highlighted the adverse effects of the power outage on the well-being of the residents and appealed for the governor's urgent action to restore electricity. Afod acknowledged the governor's efforts to improve the lives of Ekiti citizens and emphasized that the affected communities also deserve the benefits of good governance.

He concluded his letter by expressing hope for the governor's continued strength and blessings for his administration, stating, "Ekiti deserves light. Our communities deserve attention.".
