Baba-Ahmed Claims No Challenger Can Change Nigeria

Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, who served as the vice-presidential candidate for the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, asserted that none of President Bola Tinubu's opponents, including Peter Obi, possess the capability to transform Nigeria. During an interview on MIC ON Podcast hosted by Seun Okinbaloye, Baba-Ahmed expressed skepticism about the opposition figures' ability to improve the country.

He advised President Tinubu to prepare for a transition of power but cautioned against handing over to any of the current challengers, stating that they were all previously aligned with one another at some point, including Peter Obi, who was once a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In the 2023 election, Baba-Ahmed and Obi's ticket finished third, trailing behind Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP.
