Nigeria Police Force Enforces Tinted Glass Permit Amid Legal Challenges

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has begun enforcing the Tinted Glass Permit directive, requiring vehicles with tinted glasses to have approved permits. This move has faced legal challenges, with the Federal High Court in Warri ordering the NPF to suspend enforcement.

The Nigerian Bar Association has also challenged the directive, citing violations of rights. The NPF insists on enforcing the policy, citing the Motor Vehicles Prohibition of Tinted Glass Act.
