Bendel Insurance Announces Three-Week Break After NPFL Season

Bendel Insurance, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has declared a three-week break for its players and officials after the conclusion of the 2025/26 NPFL season. The announcement was made by the club's General Manager, Charl Ihimekpen, during a meeting with the team.

Ihimekpen acknowledged the club's fifth-place finish in the league and expressed disappointment over their dramatic exit from the Federated Cup, where they were eliminated by El Kanemi Warriors. He emphasized the need for the team to learn from past mistakes to avoid similar disappointments in the upcoming season.

The players and officials are expected to return to training on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, as they prepare for the new season.
