Katsina United Declares Player Uche Collins Missing

Katsina United, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has officially declared player Uche Collins missing after he was absent without official leave. The announcement was made by the club's chairman, Surajo Umar Baba, on Friday.

Collins' absence is particularly concerning as it comes just before a scheduled match against Rangers on February 22, 2026, at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium. Surajo Umar Baba also mentioned that Collins' contract has been altered to reflect a change until the end of the 2026-2027 season.

Additionally, Katsina United has warned other clubs against attempting to recruit Collins without their permission, stating that such actions could lead to legal consequences. Collins has been recognized for his standout performances with Katsina United over the past two seasons, contributing significantly to the team's efforts in the ongoing season.
