Abdulaziz Abubakar was caught vandalizing a transformer, while Inuwa Abubakar was arrested with 10 railway sleepers. Bashir Haruna, 20, was also apprehended for allegedly stealing copper wires.

NSCDC Public Relations Officer, CSC Buhari Saad, emphasized the corps' commitment to protecting national infrastructure and called on residents to provide information to prevent vandalism. Aliyu Ibrahim, Secretary of Yamaltu-Deba Local Government Area, commended the NSCDC for addressing the ongoing issue of vandalism.
