NSCDC Arrests 16 Suspects for Vandalism and Theft in Gombe
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command, arrested 16 suspects for crimes including rape, vandalism, theft, forgery, impersonation, and cattle rustling. Chief Superintendent of Corps Buhari Saad announced the arrests during a press briefing on Wednesday.

Malambaba Uru, 64, was implicated in the repeated abuse of a 14-year-old girl at his chemist shop on July 27, 2026. The third suspect, 15-year-old Madala Matthias, was arrested for allegedly abusing another eight-year-old girl on August 10, 2026.
Additionally, five suspects were apprehended for vandalism and theft, including Habila Matthias, 30, and Mika Malangai, 25, both linked to criminal conspiracy and theft in Kaltungo Local Government Area.
