Obi Urges INEC for Credible Elections in Kogi State

During the unveiling of Chief Peter Ameh as the NDC Kogi East Senatorial Candidate in Ogugu, Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, Peter Obi called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to maintain the integrity of the electoral process and resist any manipulation favoring political parties. Obi expressed that the primary concern for the 2027 general elections is not the outcome but the ability of citizens to protect their votes.

He highlighted the pressing issues of hunger and poverty in Nigeria, urging citizens to ensure a free, fair, and credible election where their votes count. Obi also encouraged candidates to focus on issue-based campaigns rather than making empty promises.
