Dele Momodu Urges Peter Obi to Partner with Atiku for 2027

Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), revealed that Peter Obi expressed confidence in his popularity compared to Atiku Abubakar. During an interview on Symfoni TV, Momodu advised Obi to consider collaborating with Atiku for the upcoming 2027 presidential election.

He referenced the political dynamics in Ghana, mentioning how former Vice President John Mahama became President after working with Atta Mills. Momodu also pointed to Nigeria's political landscape, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships.

He expressed concerns about the political climate in Nigeria, particularly regarding Bola Tinubu's growing influence and the support of governors for Tinubu. Momodu criticized Tinubu's administration, specifically mentioning the suspension of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, which he deemed unfair.
