Oborevwori Donates Bus to Delta NUJ for Enhanced Cooperation

On Tuesday, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori donated a brand-new Toyota Hiace bus to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, during a presentation in Asaba. The governor's Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, stated that the donation recognizes the positive relationship between the state government and journalists.

Ahon expressed hope that the bus would enhance cooperation between the government and the media, emphasizing the importance of the gesture. The Chairman of the Delta State NUJ Council, Churchill Oyowe, expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for fulfilling his promise, describing the donation as a demonstration of the governor's commitment.

Oyowe noted that the modern bus would significantly enhance the council's activities and thanked the governor for his administration's development efforts. He reaffirmed the union's commitment to maintaining a cordial relationship with the state government and acknowledged the contributions of various officials in facilitating the donation.
