Ochetoha K’Idoma Demands Justice for Slain Fulani Leader

The Ochetoha K’Idoma Forum, led by President Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu, condemned the killing of Fulani community leader Ardo Risku Moham, also known as Mr. Yakubu Isah, in Ohimini Local Government Area, Benue State. The organization described the incident as a tragic act that must not go unpunished.

In a statement, they urged security agencies to ensure that those responsible for the killing are identified, arrested, and prosecuted according to the law. The forum expressed deep sorrow over the incident, stating that no grievances justify taking innocent lives.

They extended condolences to the bereaved family and emphasized the need for equal empathy for all victims of violence. The organization criticized the federal and state governments for their inability to effectively address the worsening security situation in Benue State and called for a comprehensive security strategy that protects all residents, regardless of ethnic background.

They urged citizens to remain calm and avoid retaliatory actions while cooperating with authorities in the investigation.
