Edo Governor Unveils ₦939.85 Billion Budget of Hope for 2026

Governor Okpebholo of Edo State presented the ₦939.85 billion 'Budget of Hope' for 2026 to the Edo State Assembly. The budget emphasizes tackling insecurity with anti-cultism measures, road construction, and healthcare improvements.

Notable plans include building primary health centers, a specialist hospital, and 28 new road projects. The administration aims to enhance security by recruiting and training 2,500 officers for the Edo State Security Corps.
