JAMB Mega CBT Centre Launched in Borno State

On Wednesday, the outgoing Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, alongside his successor, Prof.

Segun Aina, commissioned the Is-haq Oloyede JAMB Mega Professional Registration Centre in Maiduguri, Borno State. This centre, donated by the Borno state government, spans 5,300 square meters and includes a main office complex with eight offices, three conference rooms, four registration areas, and 16 convenience facilities.

It features two Computer-Based Test (CBT) halls, each with 275 computers, allowing for 500 candidates per examination session and up to 2,000 candidates daily. The project, laid by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum on February 24, 2026, was completed in under six months.

Prof. Oloyede praised Governor Zulum for his investment in education, while Zulum emphasized the importance of education in addressing the state's challenges, noting an investment of over ₦1 billion in the centre.
