Nollywood Stars Honor Olu Jacobs at Tribute Event

On September 30, 2026, a Night of Tributes was held at Glover Memorial Hall on Lagos Island to honor Olu Jacobs, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 84. This event marked the first public gathering since his death, attracting numerous prominent figures from Nollywood, including Funke Akindele, Jide Kosoko, Adebayo Salami, Saka, Richard Mofe-Damijo, and Sola Sobowale.
