FCC Chairman Omidiran Enhances Staff Welfare and Integrity

During the Federal Character Commission's (FCC) first-ever general staff meeting held in Abuja, Chairman Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran emphasized the commission's commitment to improving staff welfare and maintaining transparency in public service recruitment. She declared a zero-tolerance policy towards job racketeering and warned individuals involved in illegal recruitment practices of strict consequences.

To facilitate reporting of such activities, Omidiran announced the introduction of whistleblower lines, allowing staff and the public to confidentially report suspicious recruitment activities. The whistleblower numbers provided were 234 915 763 8393 and 234 913 861 0089.

Omidiran highlighted the importance of staff welfare as a priority for the administration, noting that the workforce is essential for delivering the commission's mandate. The meeting also addressed long-standing issues such as water supply challenges faced by staff.
