FCC Chair Advocates for Gender Balance at UN Event

Hulayat Omidiran, the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), delivered a keynote address at a high-level side event titled "Global Women Partnership Without Border" during the 70th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York. In her address, she advocated for stronger commitments to inclusive governance and gender balance, stating that these elements are crucial for sustaining democracy and development.

Omidiran highlighted the importance of fair representation of both men and women in leadership roles, asserting that inclusive governance structures encourage diverse perspectives and effective policy outcomes.
