Ondo APC Backs INEC Timetable, Rejects ADC Claims

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has affirmed its confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) timetable for the 2027 elections, while firmly dismissing allegations made by the African Democratic Congress (ADC). During a media session in Akure, Steve Otaloro, the state director of media and public affairs for the APC, described the INEC timetable as realistic and structured to ensure fair political practices.

He highlighted the importance of political parties adhering to regulatory requirements, maintaining updated membership databases, and conducting orderly primaries to reinforce the credibility of political parties. Otaloro also addressed the ADC's claims that the new timetable favors President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC, stating that such allegations lack evidentiary foundation.

The APC welcomes reforms aimed at promoting electoral integrity and accountability within the political system.
