Ondo APC Chairman Confirms Unity Ahead of Elections

The chairman of the APC in Ondo State stated that the party is not divided and is committed to securing one million votes for Bola Tinubu in the upcoming elections. He acknowledged that political parties often face internal disagreements, which he considers normal.

Following his emergence as chairman, he focused on strengthening the party's structure amidst a busy electoral schedule, including by-elections and primaries for various legislative positions. He emphasized that disagreements are part of the political process and that the party has mechanisms to resolve these issues.

A review committee was established to assess the outcomes of the recent primaries, and decisions have been made based on its report. The chairman shared his personal experience of not receiving a return ticket for the House of Representatives but later serving as a special adviser, reinforcing the idea that all party members' contributions are valued regardless of ticket outcomes.
