Ondo Government Enhances Grassroots Engagement Strategies

Hon. Idowu Ajanaku, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State, stated that the state government is committed to ensuring that its policies and programs reach every part of the state, including remote rural communities.

During an appearance on OSRC TV, Ajanaku recognized the critical role of information in governance and outlined various communication channels deployed to keep residents informed about government activities and opportunities. The government aims to strengthen collaboration with traditional rulers, community leaders, and religious institutions to ensure accurate information reaches grassroots communities.

Ajanaku noted the importance of public engagement platforms that allow citizens to contribute to policy discussions and express community concerns directly to the government. He cited the recent success in rescuing an abducted boy in Idogun as an example of effective collaboration between the government and security agencies.

The government also warned residents against spreading false information and emphasized the legal consequences of such actions.
