Ondo Monarch Urges Diaspora to Invest in Akure

Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure Kingdom in Ondo State, called on indigenes of Akure, both at home and abroad, to invest in their community to aid its development. He made this appeal during the inauguration of Baseline Event Centre in Akure on Sunday.

The monarch stated that investments would not only contribute to the town's growth but also generate employment opportunities for the youth. He assured potential investors of the safety of their investments in Akure.

Olusegun Odemakinwa, the Managing Director of Baseline Event Centre, highlighted that the centre aims to boost employment and economic activity in Akure. He noted that the project would create opportunities for young people and professionals in various sectors related to events and hospitality.

Odemakinwa expressed the intention to collaborate with local businesses to ensure that the success of Baseline extends to the wider community.
