Police Rescue Abducted Worshippers in Ekiti State

In a recent operation, the Nigeria Police Force, coordinated by Sundai Abutu, successfully rescued abducted worshippers in Ekiti State. The operation was a collaborative effort involving the Nigeria Police Force, military security agencies, Amotekun Corps, and local hunters.

Unfortunately, one victim died in captivity. Following the rescue, the victims were taken to the hospital for medical examination and treatment to assess their health conditions.

Police Commissioner Falad Adegoroye Michael commended the dedication and professionalism of all security stakeholders involved in the operation, attributing the success to their collective efforts. Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji also praised the support from the state government, describing it as a major factor in the operation's success.

Authorities reassured residents of their commitment to protecting lives and property across the state and urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
