OPC faults Galadima on tribalism claims against Tinubu, Obasanjo

The Oodua People's Congress (OPC) has criticized Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, for alleging that President Bola Tinubu and former President Olusegun Obasanjo support Yoruba tribalism. OPC's National Public Relations Officer, Akin Adesina, and President Worldwide, Aare Prince Osibote, refuted the claims at a press conference in Ibadan, Oyo State.

They emphasized that the allegations against Tinubu and Obasanjo were baseless and wrong. Adesina recalled a past incident in Oyo State involving Fulani herdsmen, highlighting the need for unity among Yoruba people.

The OPC also defended Tinubu's handling of crises in Lagos, stating that Galadima's accusations were unfounded. The group criticized Galadima for attempting to sow discord and urged him to make progressive statements instead.
