Pastor Suspends Marriage Plans for Autistic Daughter After 1,000 Suitors

Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries, announced the suspension of marriage plans for his 21-year-old adopted daughter, Chiemeaka Chibuzor, who is autistic. This decision comes after an overwhelming response of over 1,000 applications from prospective suitors.

The pastor made this announcement via a Facebook post on Thursday, stating that the marriage process is halted until further instructions are provided. He noted that the applications would not proceed to wedding arrangements at this time.

Earlier, the pastor had offered financial incentives and welfare guarantees to encourage men to agree to marry Chiemeaka, outlining conditions that included physical and mental fitness, lifetime financial support, and regular monitoring of the woman's welfare by OPM staff. The marriage ceremony was initially planned for March 29.
