Pastor Chibuzor Chinyer Halts Marriage Plans for Autistic Kids

Chibuzor Gift Chinyer, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has announced the permanent suspension of marriage plans involving adopted autistic children. This decision was disclosed in a post on his official Facebook page, where he emphasized that the health and welfare of these children would take precedence over any future marriage arrangements.

The announcement follows a previous proposal where Chinyer sought to find a wife for an adopted autistic son, which garnered mixed reactions from the public. Reports indicated that around 1,000 men expressed interest in marrying his adopted autistic daughter, intensifying the public debate surrounding the issue.

However, amid mounting backlash, Chinyer has chosen to withdraw from these marriage arrangements and instead focus on employing a special medical professional to provide dedicated care and support for the children. This shift in priorities has generated widespread discussion across Nigerian media and social platforms.
