Franci Orbih Re-elected as Badminton Federation President

Franci Orbih has secured a third consecutive term as the president of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) after emerging unopposed during the federation's electoral congress held on Monday, March 2, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium. A total of 13 votes were cast by accredited delegates, with Adamu Alhaji Lawan elected as the vice president.

Orbih expressed optimism about advancing Nigerian badminton and emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among stakeholders to support the federation's programs and initiatives. He acknowledged the efforts of the newly constituted executive board and highlighted the need for collective action to enhance the growth and development of badminton in Nigeria.

Shehu Dikko, the chairman of the National Sports Commission, congratulated Orbih on his re-election and praised the smooth, crisis-free electoral process.
