APC Confident of Victory in Osun Governorship Election

Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that the party is poised to win the governorship election in Osun State scheduled for August 15. During the inauguration of the APC National Campaign Council for the Osun governorship election, Yilwatda asserted that nothing would prevent the APC from taking over the Osun Government House.

He emphasized the party's capacity and political structure, declaring the APC as the strongest political force in Nigeria. Yilwatda mentioned that the party would leverage its governors, members of the National Assembly, local government chairmen, and other stakeholders to secure victory.

He described the upcoming Osun election as crucial for the APC's strategy leading up to the 2027 general elections and expressed optimism that the party's candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), would win. Yilwatda also indicated that the APC would enhance grassroots mobilization efforts to gain voter support ahead of the election.
