Adeleke Urges Osun Voters to Reject APC in Election

Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State and the Accord Party governorship candidate, called on residents to vote against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15. He accused the APC of neglecting civil servants during its tenure, stating that workers faced significant hardships.

In a post on X, Adeleke expressed his determination to prevent a return to the era when civil servants struggled to meet basic needs, urging voters to support his re-election bid. He highlighted his administration's focus on workers' welfare since taking office, contrasting it with the APC's record.

Adeleke stated that the unjust freezing of state accounts would only strengthen the resolve of the people to ensure Osun does not revert to past difficulties. He emphasized the choice between progress and regression, good governance over neglect, and urged voters to protect the mandate of the people.
