Adeleke Urges Osun Voters to Defy Threats Ahead of Election

Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, called on residents to ignore threats from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) and to come out in large numbers to vote for his re-election on August 15. Speaking during a church service at the Winners Church in Osogbo, Adeleke accused Marine Minister Gboyega Oyetola, APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, Senator Adenigba Fadahunsi, and Hon. Wole Oke of instigating violence due to their rejection by the voters.

He assured the people of their safety and urged them to punish those responsible for violence by voting against them. Adeleke highlighted his administration's achievements in various sectors, including workers' welfare, health, education, and infrastructure, asserting that these accomplishments have overwhelmed his opponents.

He expressed confidence in his victory over Oyebamiji and the APC, emphasizing the need for Osun people to assert their rights to vote.
