APP Commends INEC and Tinubu for Osun Election Success

The Action Peoples Party (APP) has lauded the recently concluded Osun State governorship election as a significant advancement for Nigeria's democratic process. High Chief Uchenna Nnadi, the National Chairman of APP, expressed this sentiment during a press conference in Abuja, commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), its Chairman, President Bola Tinubu, security agencies, and the citizens of Osun State for their contributions to the election's success.

Nnadi characterized the election as a "victory for democracy," highlighting the importance of allowing voters a genuine opportunity to choose their leaders. He praised INEC's leadership under Amupitan for demonstrating courage and integrity, urging that the standards set during this election should be maintained in future electoral processes.

Nnadi also commended President Tinubu for fostering a level playing field for political parties, emphasizing the necessity for the Federal Government to continue supporting democratic practices as Nigeria approaches the 2027 general elections.
