APP Commends INEC for Successful Osun Election

The All Progressives Party (APP) praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), its Chairman Prof. Joash Amupitan, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and security agencies for their roles in the successful conduct of the Osun election. APP National Chairman High Chief Uchenna Nnadi stated that the election's significance transcended the outcomes for individual political parties, emphasizing the importance of voters having a genuine opportunity to choose their leaders.

Nnadi described the election as a victory for democracy, enhancing public confidence in the electoral process. He acknowledged that while no election is perfect, the Osun election demonstrated the potential for Nigeria's electoral process to evolve towards greater credibility and transparency.

Nnadi particularly commended Prof. Joash Amupitan for his leadership, calling him a "new democratic hero" and urged him to institutionalize the lessons learned from this election for future electoral exercises.
