Adeleke Confident Against APC in Osun Election

Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, spoke at the Arise Townhall Meeting on Tuesday, asserting his readiness to confront what he termed "Federal might" and the influence of governors backing the APC candidate in the upcoming election. He characterized himself as a "bulldozer," emphasizing that he is not intimidated by the presence of these governors, whom he referred to as friends.

Adeleke stated that their support would not translate into votes for his opponent, noting that while the governors could campaign, they would not be able to vote in the election. Additionally, he addressed allegations regarding the militarization of Osun State, clarifying that he does not possess the constitutional authority to deploy armed forces, as he is not the Commander-in-Chief.

His comments come as political activities intensify ahead of the election scheduled for Saturday, with major parties mobilizing support among voters.
