APC Forms Campaign Council for Osun Gov'ship Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the formation of its campaign council for the Osun gubernatorial election set for Saturday, August 15, 2026. Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, will chair the council.

Senator Barau I. Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, has been appointed as the council's secretary.

Other notable members include Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, the President of the Senate, and Rt. Hon.

Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, who will serve as Co-Chairmen. Hon.

Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters, will act as Deputy Chairman. The council is composed of eminent party leaders, governors, members of the National Working Committee, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective campaign execution.

Specialized sub-committees have also been established to manage various aspects of the campaign.
