Oyebamiji Remains Silent on Adeleke's Victory Call

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Osun State governorship election, has not publicly responded to Governor Ademola Adeleke's request for congratulations following his re-election. Despite calls from prominent figures, including President Bola Tinubu and Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, Oyebamiji chose to express gratitude to his supporters instead.

In a statement released in Osogbo, he commended APC members for their dedication and urged them to remain committed to the party's vision. Oyebamiji acknowledged the election's outcome while supporting the party's ongoing review of the results.

He also raised concerns about increasing hostility and violence against APC members, calling on the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to address these issues promptly. Oyebamiji emphasized the importance of maintaining peace among his supporters during the post-election period.
