APC Confident Despite Resignations Ahead of Osun Polls

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has expressed confidence that the resignation of some party members will not affect their prospects in the upcoming governorship election set for August 15, 2026. Kola Olabisi, the party's Director of Media, stated that the APC remains united and undeterred despite these departures, which they view as an orchestrated effort to create a false impression of instability within the party.

The APC believes that these developments will not hinder their campaign for their governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. The party has appealed to its members for continued support and emphasized that resignations are common during election periods.

Furthermore, the APC criticized the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke for failing to adequately address key sectors such as education, healthcare, and the economy. The party remains determined to secure victory in the forthcoming election and mobilize support across the state.
