APM Predicts Tinubu's Loss to Makinde in 2027 Election

The Allied People’s Movement (APM) has asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will lose the 2027 presidential election to its candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State. This statement was made by the APM's National Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Abubakar, in Abuja on Sunday, following the recent Osun State governorship election, which he described as indicative of growing public rejection of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Abubakar emphasized that the booing of Tinubu's political allies during their visit to Osun State reflects increasing dissatisfaction with the ruling party. He claimed that the APC would struggle to gain public support in the upcoming elections, citing economic hardship and insecurity as key issues.

Abubakar also noted that some APC members are reportedly shifting towards the APM, and he urged the APC to refrain from attempting to rig the 2027 elections. He praised Makinde's governance in Oyo State as evidence of his capability to lead Nigeria effectively.
