Ogun Police Commit to Secure Otafest Nigeria 2026

The Ogun State Police Command has committed to fully participating in Otafest Nigeria 2026, which is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at St. Michael African School Mini Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

During a meeting with the Otafest Nigeria delegation, led by Michael Adebowale Gomwalk, the police expressed their support for the festival, which aims to enhance tourism, youth engagement, and cultural preservation. The Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojaijuni, along with his deputies, assured that the police would collaborate with the event organizers to ensure robust security measures, including crowd management, traffic control, and public safety coordination.

The festival is positioned as a significant cultural and economic platform, expected to attract thousands of attendees and promote commercial opportunities in Ogun State. The event will feature a blend of cultural exhibits, trade fairs, and live entertainment, with notable appearances from figures such as Tyson Kill, an African middleweight boxing champion.
